Dear Colleagues,

Percutaneous nephrolithotomy is a very effective technique for the treatment of large lithiasis. It is a technique that since its first mention in 1865 has varied greatly both in the position of the patient, and in the technique and available materials.

All of this has managed to reduce complications and surgical time, while at the same time success in the treatment of large lithiasis has increased. For this reason, this special issue is dedicated to new advances in this technique.
