Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men, and early detection is crucial for successful treatment. It is challenging for the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer due to the complex nature of the disease. In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has shown promise in improving the accuracy of prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment planning. This special issue focuses on the intersection of AI and prostate cancer, examining the ways in which AI is being used to improve diagnosis and treatment of the disease.

The special issue will cover a range of topics related to AI and prostate cancer, including but not limited to:

  • AI-based analysis of medical imaging data for more accurate diagnosis
  • Optimization of treatment planning through AI algorithms
  • Predictive modeling of patient outcomes using machine learning
  • New therapeutic strategies enabled by AI
  • Applications of AI in clinical practice, such as virtual assistants for patients
  • Metaverse
  • New frontiers in robotic survey with the use of AI
  • Ethical and social implications of AI in healthcare

Expected Outcomes:

The special issue will provide valuable insights into the current state and future directions of AI in prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment. The articles will showcase the latest research and developments in the field, highlighting the potential of AI to improve patient outcomes and enhance personalized treatment options. The articles will also address important ethical and social implications to consider as AI becomes more integrated into healthcare. The results of the special issue will help researchers, clinicians, and policymakers in associated field to improve the understanding of diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. We believe that this special issue will be an excellent resource for anyone interested in the intersection of AI and healthcare, and we look forward to receiving submissions from experts in the field.
